Terms of Use

By creating an account or using the Survivor app (the "App") you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What Survivor is
Survivor is a social sports-prediction game: the participants of a competition pick one team per round of a real football league, can never repeat a team, earn points and lose lives with defeats, until one survivor remains.
Survivor is not a betting platform. The App does not handle money, bets, prizes or payments between players, and offers no way to win money or items of monetary value. The "prizes" fields an organizer may fill in are purely informational and describe, where applicable, private arrangements between participants that are outside the App and the sole responsibility of those who agree to them. This is a game of skill and strategy, not a game of chance.
2. Accounts
- You need an account to play; authentication is handled through Auth0.
- You are responsible for the activity carried out with your account.
- You must be at least 14 years old to use the App.
3. Rules of use
- Do not use the App for illegal purposes or to organize real-money betting.
- Do not attempt to manipulate results, standings or the technical operation of the service.
- Do not impersonate other people or use offensive names.
- Competition administrators may accept, reject or remove participants from their leagues in accordance with the rules of the game.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.
4. The game
- Picks can be changed until the selected team's match kicks off; after that they are locked.
- Points, lives and eliminations are computed automatically from official sports results. If a result is corrected, the round is re-validated and the standings adjust accordingly.
- Leaving a competition is final: your history is preserved, but rejoining is not possible.
5. Content and intellectual property
The App, its design and its code are the property of its developer. The names and crests of teams and sports competitions belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes. Survivor is not affiliated with any league, club or federation.
6. Availability and warranties
The App is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and the sports data correct, but we do not guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the App.
7. Advertising and paid features
The free version may show advertising. We may offer optional paid features; no paid feature will ever grant competitive advantages within the game.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the App and these terms; substantial changes will be announced in the App. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of the user's domicile in Spain.
